REPORT CALLS BY OFFENSE - YEARS 2003 Through 2012

Offenses reported to the Sheriff's Department are not always chargeable crimes or true offenses. Though the Sheriff's Department generates a greater number of incidents, or calls for service, that deputies respond to, not all incidents require an offense report.  For example, the Department receives many "suspicious activity" calls in a year.  However, only 1 or 2 may require a report because an arrest is made on that call or criminal activity has been found.  The statistics provided below are generated by the use of the Department's computer system and represent the majority of criminal activity reported in the County.
